Organization Description:
FENPS (Formal Education Network for Private Schools) is an education umbrella registered in Somalia and established in 2003. It seeks to improve the educational opportunities for Somalia’s children (through schools) and adults (through vocational education). It operates over 20 schools with enrolments 12,518 students. FENPS also seeks to promote the right to education and equal access to education for all. The main objectives of FENPS include the elimination of education barrier diseases such as TB, HIV/AIDS and FGM. FENPS activities are implemented on Child to Child Approach and beneficiaries’ consultation.
