1.REH-CON was establised in 2001. It is registered at the State (2004) & National level - CAC (2001 & 2011) and It is Non-Profit. Our Mission is to provide quality youth friendly sexuality education, reproductive health, general health, and holistic development programs and services to adolescents, youths, women, couples and communities through research, advocacy, capacity building, training, counselling, empowerment, care and support. 2.Due to the complex relationship between TB & HIV.The war against HIV can only be worn if TB is equally fought.Why should anyone die of TB when it is cureable & treetment is free 3.In 2006/7 REH-CON in collaboration with WHO/CFCS implemented "TB Prevention & Awareness Project' in 2 Local Government Areas {LGAs}in Plateau State Nigeria.REH-CON also implemented a HIV/AIDS,TB,Drug abuse Prevention & Awareness Project in 3 {LGAs}in Plateau State in 2004/5 in collaboration with Plateau State Control Agency{PLACA}/World Bank. With the support of thesame dev partners REH-CON lmplemented a HIV Counselling & Testing {HCT}Project in 3 LGAs of Plateau State in 2008. We plan to scale up & out the TB project across the Country-which inclue Basic reseach,advocacy,communication,education.expasion of DOTs Centers.provion of relief to patients and dev to communities. |

REH-CON is the chairman of Plateau state TB Network. Have implemented a TB Prevention and Awareness project in Plateau State in collaboration with CFCS/WHO. Plan to re-apply for membership of stop TB Global. Have applied to be a TB community delegate under the global Fund (2011 call for proposal). Plan to collaborate with more partners to mitigate TB and other related diseases in Nigeria. |

TB Care Delivery: Conducted sensitization on Access to DOTS Centres and advocacy on DOTS Centres among Local Government (LG) Chairman in 2007 (CFCS/WHO).
TB-HIV: Implemented 1-year Prevention and Awareness Project; 1 year HIV/AIDS Prevention and Awareness Project in collaboration with World Bank, Plateau State Control Agency (PLACA); 1 year HCT Project PLACA assisted.
Laboratory Strengthening: Advocated for laboratory strength to LGC Chairmen & State commissioners and wrote proposals to State Ministry of Health to strengthen laboratories.
Research: Conducted focus group discussion (FGD), in 2008 under TB Project and 1 FGD on HIV/AIDS, STI, drug and sexual abuse under World Bank/PLACA Project in Plateau State in 2006. |
