Organization Description:
Gondar college of medicine and Health sciences is an oldest health professional training institution in ethiopia, establsihed in 1954 by training midlevel health professionals who work as a team at health center. the instituiton is know for public health oriented team training with culture of public health and basic clinical research.
I am interested to be updated with the current developements and initiatives in the Tb control programs and to contribute to , participate and benefit from research, program implementation ,intervention and training iniiative opportunities.
the institution in running Tb/HIV program, provide preservice and inservice trainings, conduct researchs and collaborate with various instutions in some basic experimental studies of diagnostics.
as a radiologist , I have been collaborating with various researchers in diagosis of TB, am teaching medicine and Health sciences students on diagnosis of TB and CXR interpretation, conduct continous weekl sessions with staffs of which TB&HIV take the major share of the session, am providing Health care for the community in the diagnosis and follow up of TB patients , as a department we have organised continuos training of health professionals on interpretation of CXR for the diagnosis of TB for which we are awaiting funding.

- undertaking research whch contribute for genrating knowledge and poviding local/national information for action
- providing health care at the university health care facilities ( teaching refal hospital)
- established MDR treatment center which the 2nd in the counry and providing service for patients and training health pofssionals.
