| The Department of Health Foundation is a registered health non-profit making organization, organized and directed by health professionals (clinicians) to provide research and education on human health to help reduce the rate of sicknesses causing death in the community and the country at large.The foundation is fully involve in in emergency preparedness and rehabilitation planning at local and global level eg: (1) The National Poverty Reduction Programme (2) Primary Health Care Programme eg A) Maternal morbidity and mortality B) Sudden infant death syndrome (C) Fetal mortality with communicable non communicable diseases (3) Village Infrastructural Programme and (4) Community Water and Sanitation Programme MISSION STATEMENT (1)To empower women and men to fully understand their own biology fact of reproduction in times of sicknesses to health and from conception to childbirth. (2)To lead the way of self-help in health care, that is , (a) What to do (first aide) ( b) When to seek advice from a medical practitioners(Medical aid). (3) To provide research and education on the dangers of environmental hazards |
