Hope Care Foundation is a registered non Governmental Organization which seek to improve the sexual reproductive health of people living in Ghana and across Africa. We do this by providing accessible HIV/AIDS/STI and TB services; it is the belief of the organization that these services will enable people to make informed decisions concerning their lives. Hope Care Foundation is client centred and strives to constantly update its knowledge and skills in order to provide the best services at all times. We are interested in TB because the organization has relised the need for TB education in our communities across the nation it is by these call we are interested. The organization is providing community education and sensitization arround TB, case detection, infection control and case finding as TB control. Hope Care Foundation in partnership with National TB programme has undertaken TB case detection and sensitization activities in various District of the country. The organization was supported and financed by National Tuberculosis Control Program through the Global Fund Grant. The organization has applied several concepts in its community educations, the very best one that was used in contributing to TB control in Ghana was Community Conservation Enhancement concept. Through this concept the organization was able to achieve a result by diffusing the misconception among community members regarding TB as witch craft diseases. |
