We perform mainly a predefined TB screening program in Ankara, Turkey(designed and updated by Immigrant, Refugee, and Migrant Health Branch Division of Global Migration and Quarantine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta). Those applicants for US immigration in the region are coming to Ankara or going to Istanbul for the medical screening before theri interview in h Embassy. At this point we diagnose/identify Latent TB, suspected TB cases, inactive or active TB cases and forward them to the DOT treatment centers making sure that they certify their proper treatment before they continue to their immigration process. The population is consisting of Turkish Iranian and Iraqi applicants. |
