Alliance Rights, Nigeria is a NGO working since 1999 to promote the interests of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans- gendered [LGBT] persons in Nigeria and to advance the eradication of various forms of persecution, violence, stigma and discrimination of all persons in Nigeria due to their Sexuality and Sexual orientation. Our Vision:-‘A Nigeria where equality in all totality is achieved and articulated by and for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans- gendered persons’. Our primary objectives are: 1] Promoting and protecting the Rights and interests of the LGBT citizens of Nigeria, with the aim of reaching full legal and actual equality for the LGBT people in Nigeria. 2] Drafting suggestions and proposals for the implementation of laws and legislative regulations pertaining to the Rights of the LGBT in Nigeria. 3] Fostering democratic values in Society and seeking active protection of Human Rights through various campaigns. 4]Advocating for equal rights of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Trans- gendered [LGBT] people at the level of National, State and Local government institutions. 5] Organizing various activities promoting the rise to collective self determination of LGBT people in Nigeria 6] Creating a positive image of LGBT within the Nigerian society in cooperation with the Mass media. 7] Publishing educational materials and maintaining a website addressing sexual and reproductive health and rights and the psychosocial aspects of homosexuality for the young LGBT. 8] Providing consultancy in cases of discrimination and violence against LGBT people in Nigeria. 9] Participating in National and International collaboration with LGBT organizations, sexual and reproductive health and rights networks, etc. 10] Cooperating and networking with NGO’s/CBOs friendly to LGBT existence in Nigeria and the agenda of Alliance Rights, Nigeria. 11]Commitment to confronting the HIV and AIDS epidemic in Nigeria, specifically as it affects Men who have sex with Men[MSM]with further determination to reversing the current alarming trends of |

After the death of Boss Mr. Dare Odumuya who is the CEO of the orgnaiztion i was made the Executive Director of orgnization and as it is i want to follow His steps he has a great passion for the fight against TB/HIV and as for me, i'm working against having a TB/HIV free generation.
