Organization Description: |
1. Mission We work with the voiceless, vulnerable, unhealthy, socio economically downtrodden and elderly people, towards their holistic development and welfare, through an integrated approach and community participation. 2. Our target group includes people living with HIV /AIDS, Tuberculosis and other chronic diseases who are from the poor socio economic background. They are unaware of the diseases transmission process and its prevention and control strategies. There is a need for a early diagnosis, treatment and related management procedures to control the incidence of tuberculosis HIV/AIDS etc. 3. Right now, we are referring the suspected TB cases to sputum test in government primary health centre and at the community level, the field workers do the follow up services. what we are planning to do are as follows: - Community awareness creation on the diseases transmission process of TB - Training community volunteers for DOT clinics - Counselling and referral services to government hospital for the free regular treatment - Find cases and trace contacts in vulnerable populations - Reduce the potential for exposure to airborne infectious diseases - Provide additional diagnostic, nutritional, and vocational support to the victims - Mass campaign on TB awareness, prevention, diagnosis and early treatment - Provide advanced tests to detect drug resistance and susceptibility - Rehabilitation programme for the vulnerable TB patients

We are working in both Dindigul and Namakkal district among the people living with HIV/AIDS. TB is one of the opportunistic diseases where the target group are affected. We support then for their treatment of HIV/AIDS and TB through the government hospitals/health centres. The National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) is the government of India's program to prevent and control tuberculosis (TB). The program goal is to eliminate tuberculosis in both the districts. |

TB Care Delivery: We are organizing advocacy conferences at the district level with government officials medical practitioners, social workers, NGOs, Women SHGs leaders, PRI leaders, media group etc for brining policy level /programme level changes.
Drug-Resistant TB: We are identifying the drug resistance identify TB cases for their advance treatment in specialised health care centres
TB-HIV: We are working with TB cases and HIV cases for their diseases free life
New Diagnostics: We are working with the high risk groups for identifying the possible cases of HIV AIDS and tuberculosis and referring to the government hospitals for the treatment
Research: We are carrying out action oriented research and community based researches for the improvement of Healthcare services in relation to HIV AIDS and TB free life |
