Organization Description: |
United Rural Development Organization (URDO) is a not for profit, nonpartisan, development organization with generic designing and implementation rapport, established in 1998.
URDO main focus are Health, TB Control , Prevention of HIV, Malaria, Education, WASH, Advocacy. Pakistan is ranked as the 5th highest TB burden country and annually contributes to nearly 5.8% of new cases of TB worldwide, URDO have a mandate to address health problems, and TB is one of the most serious threats to the health of people and specially to the Key Population ( Transgender, MSM, FSW). URDO is currently working as SR with UNDP and implementing its HIV Prevention project among Key Population. URDO is an active organization and close coordination with National and Provincial TB Control program of Government of Pakistan , URDO intend to join hands in TB Control |

TB Care Delivery: URDO plans to work for active TB case-finding in remote communities
TB-HIV: URDO is Sub Recipient (SR) with UNDP Since April 2023 for its Global Fund grant of HIV Prevention among High Risk population ( Transgender and MSM). URDO closy work with the Provincial TB Control program, collaborative TB/HIV activities may help to mitigate the impact of the dual epidemic on patients and communities |
