Community Awareness And response On AIDS (CARA)'s mission
is













CARA's Mission is to; Empower Ugandans to effectively respond to the challenges that come with social injustice, diseases and poverty. The organization vision is; Ugandans living in a just society free from diseases, ignorance and poverty
The main focus of CARA include; prevention ,care and treatment of diseases including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria, promotion of access to safe water,hygiene and sanitation, promotion of quality education, promotion and protection of human rights, promotion of food security and nutrition.
CARA is interested in tuberculosis because it is a global challenge and in Uganda , tuberculosis has continued to be a threat to people's lives. Also tuberculosis is one of CARA's focus diseases in its work.
As an organization we are planning to fight TB related stigma and discrimination, to integrate TB PREVENTION into our other organization projects with in the communities
