Manzil Organization Balochistan (MOB) plays a vital role in contributing to the national TB control plan of our country through several impactful initiatives. Firstly, we actively participate in awareness campaigns to educate communities about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of tuberculosis. By conducting educational sessions at schools, colleges, and villages, we empower individuals with knowledge to recognize TB early and seek timely treatment.

Additionally, MOB collaborates with healthcare authorities and local clinics to facilitate access to TB diagnosis and treatment services. We work to bridge the gap between communities and healthcare providers, ensuring that individuals affected by TB receive the care they need promptly.

Furthermore, MOB engages in advocacy efforts to raise awareness among policymakers and stakeholders about the importance of prioritizing TB control measures. By advocating for increased funding, improved healthcare infrastructure, and enhanced diagnostic capabilities, we aim to strengthen the national TB control plan and make a meaningful impact on reducing TB incidence and mortality rates in Balochistan and beyond.

Overall, through our multifaceted approach encompassing awareness, access to care, and advocacy, MOB actively contributes to advancing the objectives of the country's national TB control plan, ultimately striving towards a TB-free future for all.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Advocacy: MOB actively engages in advocacy efforts to raise awareness about TB, promote early detection, and advocate for increased funding and resources for TB control. We work closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and community leaders to prioritize TB care delivery in Balochistan.
Communications and Social Mobilization: MOB utilizes various communication channels, including social media, community events, and educational campaigns, to mobilize communities and raise awareness about TB prevention, treatment, and stigma reduction. By fostering community engagement and participation, we aim to create a supportive environment for TB care delivery.

Drug-Resistant TB:
MOB recognizes the growing threat of drug-resistant TB and the need for specialized interventions to address this challenge. We plan to collaborate with healthcare providers and organizations specializing in TB treatment to ensure access to appropriate diagnosis and treatment for drug-resistant TB patients in Balochistan.
Additionally, MOB aims to raise awareness about the importance of completing TB treatment courses as prescribed to prevent the development of drug resistance. Through educational campaigns and community outreach, we seek to empower individuals with knowledge about TB treatment adherence and the consequences of drug resistance.

TB-HIV:
Given the intersection of TB and HIV/AIDS, MOB acknowledges the importance of addressing TB-HIV co-infection. We plan to collaborate with HIV/AIDS organizations and healthcare providers to integrate TB screening, diagnosis, and treatment into HIV care services.
By promoting collaborative efforts between TB and HIV/AIDS programs, MOB aims to improve access to comprehensive care for individuals living with both TB and HIV/AIDS in Balochistan. Through targeted interventions and capacity-building activities, we strive to reduce the burden of TB-HIV co-infection and improve health outcomes for affected individuals.
