Organization Description:
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that creates safe and conducive violent-free environment to Youths living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities.

Our Vision is to contribute towards ending HIV/AIDS inequalities and poverty by 2035.


Our Mission is to create a safe and conducive violent-free free environment to our beneficiaries by fighting against HIV related stigma and discrimination, creating Income Generating Activities, promoting youth Empowerment, providing Psychosocial Support and Advocacy.

We conduct TB screenings to youths living with HIV and link them to TB Preventative Programs at health facilities. We track TB medication adherence in youths with TB.

Our organization is contributing in National TB programs by providing TB screenings to Youths living with HIV. Creating referral pathways between the communities and healthcare centers. Providing adherence support to the Youths on TB medications. Increasing information dissemination on TB preventative therapies.

TB Care Delivery:
Providing adherence support to Youths on TB medications.

TB-HIV:
Conducting TB screenings for Youths living with HIV to increase the uptake of TB preventative therapy in people living with HIV.

New Diagnostics:
Providing TB information, and Pre-screenings. Creating referral pathways that increases TB diagnosis after screenings.

New TB Drugs:
Working with the health sector in providing health information on the newly established TB drugs to the users.
