TB Care Delivery:
In 2020 to 2023 CPHD trained over 900 persons in 20 communities in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region of Ghana. Our staffs were also involved in several community outreach and training activities in Western, Brong Ahafo and Western North Regions of Ghana. Our community engagement and training activities put us in direct contact with remote and unreached people in different communities. This year we anticipate to train 250 person from 10 communities in the Jomoro Municipality of the Western Region. The training is expected to commence in March 2024 to February 2025. It is also expected to cover other Coastal Districts and Communities in the Western Region.
Becoming a partner to the StopTB, we intend incorporating TB awareness and campaign as part of the awareness and campaign activities on TB. Through this, we will educate TB and Communities on TB prevention, diagnosis and treatment and refer them to the appropriate health centres for support.
