TB Care Delivery:
CORE Group manages a TB Working Group and listserv that is a nexus of global health professionals, academics, advocates and donors passionate about the potential, and practicalities, of community-level TB efforts, and other NGO contributions to the TB battle. The underdeveloped facets of community-based /NGO TB programming—implemented in close coordination with facility-based TB control—has a high value-added that is not being extensively tapped into. The best community-based and NGO TB efforts can deliver high quality, large scale, truly equitable programming in a sustainable fashion; our Working Group seeks to accelerate the evolution of this field. As a rare voice of community-level TB, our Working Group makes a difference through CORE Group’s semi-annual meetings, at the annual international Union conference, via STOP TB partnership representation, via online presentations and our webpage, as host of special events, and through other aspects of our work.
