Our organization plays a vital role in contributing to India's national TB control plan by focusing on grassroots empowerment in both rural and urban slums. We have strategically partnered with the government, aligning with the Prime Minister's vision, to provide nutritional support to identified TB patients. As a registered partner of the Nikshay Mitra Initiative, we distribute nutritional kits to these patients for six months, augmenting the efficacy of their treatment at Government TB Centres |

Contribution |
Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below: |
TB Care Delivery: Our organization is well-equipped to contribute significantly to the Global Plan to Stop TB for TB Care Delivery through our extensive experience in implementing various health initiatives, particularly those targeting vulnerable women. We have a proven track record of effective community outreach and collaboration with school administrations. With a successful track record of serving over 2.23 million people directly, primarily in healthcare initiatives, we are well-positioned to expand our efforts in TB care delivery. Our advocacy, communications, and social mobilization efforts will leverage this experience and reach a large and diverse population, including potential TB patients. We will continue to strengthen our existing initiatives while scaling up our TB-related programs, ensuring that our expertise and infrastructure contribute effectively to the global fight against tuberculosis.
TB-HIV: Our organization's extensive experience and successful advocacy efforts have yielded substantial impact in the realm of TB-HIV interventions. We have effectively influenced the government to merge HIV and TB-related interventions, promoting more efficient and result-oriented measures. Our advocacy for mandatory HIV testing at the time of TB diagnosis has further underscored our commitment to comprehensive healthcare. Through the dissemination of our groundwork reports to policymakers, we have garnered support for our initiatives. Our outreach to the most vulnerable groups, including marginalized sections, sex workers, domestic violence survivors, and unwanted girls, positions us to make a significant contribution to the Global Plan to Stop TB for TB-HIV. Our organization is poised to continue championing the integration of TB and HIV care for the betterment of these vulnerable populations and to further global TB-HIV efforts.
Research: Certainly, with our extensive database of beneficiaries, a dedicated volunteer force, and a reliable source for collecting first-hand data, our organization is well-positioned to make a substantial contribution to the Global Plan to Stop TB for research. Our wealth of beneficiary data provides valuable insights into the real-world impact of TB and related interventions, allowing us to conduct in-depth research studies and analyze trends. Moreover, our committed volunteer force can assist in data collection, surveys, and outreach efforts, ensuring that our research is comprehensive and thorough. With these resources and capabilities, we have the capacity to generate evidence-based research, inform policy decisions, and advance the global effort to combat TB effectively. |
