TB Care Delivery:
Harare Institute of Public health is the coordinator of the Public Health Symposium in Zimbabwe. This platform attracts health advocates and decision makers. It is within our planning to factor in TB advocacy to influence political will towards financing and implementing programs and activities that contributes to ending TB in Zimbabwe.
As a research institution, we endeavor to engage in research activities that promotes active community engagements in fighting tuberculosis this effort includes health communication and social mobilization strategies. In Zimbabwe there is still stigmatization of survivors of TB, it is within the context of this work to thrive towards responding to community stigmatization of Tb survivors through communications and advocacy strategies.
