Vision: The women of Mozambique live quality life with dignity
Mission: To empower women of Mozambique to achieve their goals in life for self and families, Objectives 1) To ensure good health and nutrition, healthy physical environment in terms of good air, potable drinking water, sanitation and personal hygiene, health awareness, education and screening, and adequate access to the public health and other social, legal and other civic services in the women with special drive for full protection and vaccination against Covid19. 2) To promote and enhance primary and secondary education in the women and minimize their drop-outs from the educational institutions 3) To help the women in building their capacities and skills for the right employment and suitable entrepreneurship opportunities and make them financially and socially self-sufficient with higher self-esteem and confidence 4) To establish gender equity and main-streaming and total absence of violence against women in the community including restoration of their constitutional, human and reproductive rights 5) To enhance networks and communication in the young girls and women for faster sharing of critical information, building mutual support system and coordination, and enforce individual and collective decision-making. 6) To develop model projects of gender-responsive services and community mobilization where the interventions will be implemented by the women, with the women and for the women in AZUDA to demonstrate the desired results and produce the right deliverable for the Mozambican ministries to integrate them into the national programs and scale them up across the country. Modus Operandi AZUDA will have 7 departments. It will function in close coordination and collaboration of the 7 departments.
