To promote health and quality of life by preventing,controlling and eventually eliminating tuberculosis in South African rural areas 2.Though preventable and curable, tuberculosis (TB) is the leading cause of death of people with HIV, and the leading infectious killer globally. Siyakholwa Support Care Centre’s TB Project strengthens evidence-driven and for high-quality programs and policies national wide, that meet the needs of affected communities.Siyakholwa’s TB Project educates, mobilizes, and empowers communities to increase community understanding of TB and to catalyze action to reduce new infections, deaths, and suffering from TB and TB/HIV. to improve options for TB prevention, diagnosis, treatment and provide nutritional support. Commit to promote and support an end to TB related stigma and all forms of discimination,inclunding by removing discriminatory laws and cultural norms. 3.Commit to recognize the various sociocultural barriers to TB preventionAffirm that all people affected by TB access people-centered prevention, management of side effects ,care and providing nutritional and food to boost their immune system since they are HIV affected as well as psychosocial and socioeconomic support for successful treatment through entrepreneur skills and resources to build their resilience |
