Organization Description:
Wider Aid and Development Agency-South Sudan (WADA) is an independent registered non-governmental and nonprofit civil society organization based at South Sudan Provinces. WADA prime mandate is capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and IDPs, Returnees vulnerable host community and marginalized people of the society. WADA was founded 2000 by the group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the development and protection sector got together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of South Sudan. True to this spirit the organization was named Wider Aid and Development Agency- South Sudan (WADA).
Considering their organization with the development sector the group was cognizant of the surplus of problems plaguing the province. Consequently, the organization’s focus was not kept limited either in terms of geography or sector. Whilst operating in different districts/ state of the province, WADA has been carrying a range of interventions in the areas of education, health & hygiene, TB. Malaria and HIV/AIDs, youth & women empowerment, emergency response & preparedness, governance, free legal aid, human rights, etc.

Vision: Vision is to enabling environment for the realization, respect, and protection of human fundamentals in the communities of South Sudan.

Mission: focus on saving the lives of most vulnerable women children, teens, IDPs, Returnees and any emergency outbreak in the Communities.
To contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society

• Initiate peer education that has innovative youth to youth communication to help disseminate HIV/AIDS information, education and communication (IEC) strategies.
• To promote gender sensitivity by encouraging girl child education and by training women on technical skills.
• To initiate and support health, education, agriculture technology and water provision to the IDPs and returnees community.
