Organization Description:
The vision of PFF: A society in which there is equal access to justice for in-mates and ex-mates, respect for human rights, observance of the rule of law and a sustainable and pollution-free environment.

The Mission Statement: PFF provides legal services as a means of promoting human rights to inmates and their rehabilitation while empowering and integrating ex-inmates into society. PFF also promotes environmental management within and around correctional facilities for the purposes of mitigating the negative effects of climate change
Prisoners Future Foundation has been implementing the Ubumi Model through its partnership with Ubumi DK in Zambia’s Correctional Facilities in the Central Province. The Ubumi Model is a multi-faceted approach that looks at among other areas the Improved health and cases of Tuberculosis conditions for the children and other vulnerable groups among the prison population. With 13 years in prison work, PFF appreciates the benefits of Ubumi Model in reducing TB related problems in Correctional centres in Zambia. Through this intervention, reduced risks of Tuberculosis (TB) related mortalities have been recorded. PFF therefore, wishes to replicate this model to other Correctional Facilities in Zambia through partnership with your organization focused on prevalence of Tuberculosis (TB) the inmates who are in need of care.
