Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Delivery of screening services to those who are not receiving the optimal medical care or not eligible for social insurance has become much more efficient. Since Korea Stop TB adopted portable x-ray system, they can visit people rather than calling them around to gather. They use our portable x-rays at least 100 times/day and the demand is even more increasing.

New Diagnostics:
Increase in portability coupled with an artificial intelligence program increased the work load that each team can handle each day. By screening using chest X-ray and AI software, some process of the whole diagnostic system has been accelerated.

Research:
We donated a full set of CAD system to the WHO collaborating center at University of Sydney for the TB research called "the PEARL study." The team is on the Kiribati island where the prevalence is the highest in the world based on the population size.
