Organization Description: |
Deem for Development Organization, a non-profit organization was founded in October 2015 through a group of Yemeni youth and individuals seeks to serve the people affected by the conflict. Deem focuses on social change that combines youthful strength and local community mobilization, based on active communication and awareness-raising strategies and solutions that address the most important challenges affecting people in the developing world such as assisting in the relief work, women’s empowerment, health education, human rights, and democratic government. DEEM was registered with license number 540 granted from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor as a nongovernmental and non-profit organization to implement projects and activities in Yemen. In addition, DEEM has membership in health and population offices in the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Sana’a and a good and strong working relationship with local councils in the mentioned governorates, which are important for implementing activities in these sectors. As well as, DEEM is a member of the Health Development Council in Taiz Governorate. |
