Christian Action for Development & Support (CADS) works to inspire breakthroughs in the way world treats different lives to achieve immediate and lasting change in every living life.

CADS is a christian, non-profit, national non-governmental organization extending life–serving help and opportunity to people facing the most profound human challenges of extreme poverty. CADS works for lasting sustainable change. Our aim is to provide a rapid world response to the basic needs of population affected by humanitarian crisis to help them regain independence and dignity.

Our vision is a world in which every life attains better status, protection, development and participation.

Our programs include health, environmental protection, food security and livelihood, construction and rehabilitation, WASH, peace building, human right, GBV, child protection and education.

Our objectives are:

Increased provision of essential life-saving health and nutrition services in conflict affected communities in South Sudan

Increased access to quality education to South Sudanese boys and girls through providing age appropriate learning opportunities

Provide conflict-affected populations with safe and protected environment to prevent and respond to psychosocial distress, violence, abuse, and exploitation

Improve resilience and empowerment through capacity building and provision of appropriate livelihoods opportunities

Strengthen local communities’ capacities to promote an agenda for peace, human rights and sustainable development
