1.The main focus of Kuboresha-Africa is advocacy communication and social mobilization in ending TB.
The Mission is to improve livelihoods through ensuring equitable health service delivery and promoting sustainable economic empowerment to create a society that is healthy, wealthy and informed.
2.Am a TB survivor who lost my wife and son to TB and remained with a daughter who was born with HIV and got TB at the age of 8. This makes me more passionate in fighting TB.
3.on behalf of my organization I have done so much in TB advocacy from National, Regional and Global levels. I started a programme known as APITA (Advocacy for Parliamentary Inclusion of TB on the Agenda) that worked with the Global TB Caucus in mobilising African Parliaments to form Parliamentary TB Caucuses across Africa and made Members of Parliament to endorse the 2015 Barcelona Declaration to end TB. In Uganda I led the advocacy to have the TB affected community to he represented at the CCM Board, o was also part of the formation of the Uganda Stop TB Partnership in 2005.i have led the mobilization of civil society in implementing the WHO multisectoral Accountability Framework. Am now implementing a project focused on finding the Missing TB cases in the community. And policy advocacy to have the government increase budget allocations to TB.
