UCITC has pioneered the Public Private Mix Project for TB Control in India. In 2001, we have designed and developed and pilot tested tools for implementing, monitoring and sustaining the PPM in India. Subsequently We have been part of the Operational Research Project for PPM in Mumbai which has been supported by the Stop TB Partnership of the WHO HQ.
We have a number of research papers and publications. We are providing technical support to the private sector and training PPs on behalf of the program. |
