Mission of the Organization: To establish the poor and vulnerable people, especially the women in the society through making them capable, self-sufficient, self-governed and self-initiators through building capacity, institution, capital, utilization of local resource and imparting felt-need based problem solving programs by involving necessary skilled, trained-up and experienced staff members Why we are interested in tuberculosis and what we are planning to do: We are very interested to on TB because we have found many of people living in remote and hard to reach areas of Bangladesh, often affected and die with TB infection without knowing about TB, what are the symptoms and what to do to prevent or get proper free diagnostic and treatment support. Our Consultant Mr. Paul P. Saha, Consultant to NGOs in Bangladesh, has quite reputation, contacts with various TB control authorities, media like community based radio broadcasting channels who can easily reach every corner of Bangladesh addressing all people living mainly in the remote areas who are very fond of community radio broadcasting channels. There are 20 such community based and private channels who are being operated by community based organizations and easily there “ Prevention and reduce of tobacco use by active Awareness raising among marginal, hard to reach , farmers etc who are most vulnerable to TB infection in Bangladesh by broadcasting various small messages & by broadcasting recorded folk songs, drama, discussions doctors and expert advice & warning in 6 privately owned & 14 Community Groups owned Radio Broadcasting Channels covering every people in whole Bangladesh ” These channels are: Our professional Radio Broadcasting Partners managed and contacted by Mr. Paul Provakar Saha are: 6 Privately owned Radio, and 14 Community Radio with Bangladesh Government License Name Area served FM frequencies (MHz) Radio Foorti Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Barisal, Rajshahi, Khulna, Cox's Bazar, Noakhali, Bogura 88.0 Radio A |
