IEERD educates people and provide patient support in the states of Andhra Pradesh, India. We conduct awareness creation on TB and form community structures over the forest-fringe villages, rural settlements, urban slums to report and inform about any symptoms found in their respective location’s people both men and women; especially risk-groups and common people. We develop educative slogans and conduct campaigns to gather people towards quitting people of their “habits” to avoid life-risks and to take action towards TB-Free areas.

Throughout our earlier programmes of meeting, personal visits and educative programmes, IEERD identifies people with symptoms and help them to get checked and if found anyone needs refer them to hospitals especially connecting them to TB Control Team. We closely work with RNTCP, APSACS and Health Department in the State, AP. We also arrange vehicles for people from non-vehicle available locations of forest-dwelling and fringe villages’ communities for treatment and checkups etc. We also collect samples from people using designated tins and submit through and to the RNTCP Team. IEERD helps to have the three tests The three tests are sputum smear microscopy, chest X -ray, and the CB-NAAT test.
We ourselves collect sputum spear form people and submit to Govt. Hospital or to RNTCP Team.
