Our Mission Provide sustainable and community led solutions to achieve our vision Our Focus Areas 1. WASH in schools – To develop the knowledge and skills of the schools’ Boards of Management (BoM), teachers and pupils in such a way that they are better able to identify and help establish robust and sustainable WASH practices in their schools and lives in line with WHO and Kenya Government Standards and Guidelines for schools. 2. Youth Health and Wellbeing - To empower young people in such a way that they are better able to understand the importance of livelihood (entrepreneurship and self-employment) and health activities, including reproductive health rights, HIV/AIDS and thus improve the standard of their health and wellbeing. 3. Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) – To develop a programme of education and support for children and young people who are orphans and/or vulnerable in such a way that it improves their quality of life and that of their families and care givers.
The organisation is interested in tuberculosis because we are streamlining the disease into our HIV program in the community. We want to have a comnprehensive HIV/TB program. We are conducting education on TB among the youth living with HIV and again we want to expand our scope on HIV into TB prevention and management among these vulnerable population. |
