After the group completed their respective degrees, they realized the importance of continuing the research and gaining further knowledge for effective TB and HIV control and care. Therefore they registered a foundation called TB/HIV Research Foundation (THRF) 3) We are collaborating with the national and international researchers to implement TB genetic resaerch, research to improve diagnosis for TB infection and TB disease. We are implementing action research by involving women organizations and vulnerable populations to improve TB care and prevention.
