TB REACH Wave 11 Proposal Review Committee Application
Stop TB Partnership’s TB REACH initiative seeks candidates to review Wave 11 proposals
TB REACH announces a call for candidates to join our Proposal Review Committee (PRC). Individuals actively engaged in the fight to end TB are encouraged to apply. The TB REACH PRC reviews proposals to improve TB care delivery though innovation and new approaches and makes recommendations for funding that are the approved by the Executive Committee of Stop TB Partnership’s Board.
Wave 11 area of focus
Funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), TB REACH’s Wave 11 funding overarching theme is on Bringing innovative approaches for TB and lung health closer to the point of need. Wave 11 projects will focus on interventions at both community and primary care level aiming to:
- Improve early TB detection, linkage to care and positive treatment outcomes for people affected by TB and other lung morbidities.
- Promote the delivery of people-centred, integrated services for TB & lung health at the point of need (community and primary care).
- Include gender-responsive interventions for people with or affected by TB.
- Sustain impact by engaging with government, Global Fund, and other partners throughout project.
Who we are looking for to be on the TB REACH PRC
Global health and/or development experts with knowledge of TB but with a strong background in designing, implementing, or evaluating TB programs and/or lung health across multiple areas, including case detection, linkage to care, new treatment regimens and/or diagnostics, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), pediatric TB, artificial intelligence/ITC, laboratory systems, community and civil society engagement, organizational capacity development, gender and other similar/related disciplines. Experience in Health Systems Strengthening is desirable.
TB REACH strongly encourages people who have lived experience with TB to apply for the PRC.
Applicants must be willing to dedicate time during January-March 2024 and May-June 2024 to review many proposals from a global set of change-makers and select those that will have the most promise to contribute to ending the TB epidemic.
Who we are
The Stop TB Partnership’s TB REACH initiative was established in 2010. TB REACH is a grant-making platform that funds innovative approaches and technologies to find and treat people with active TB disease, drug-resistant TB, or TB infection. Funded projects undergo rigorous monitoring and evaluation with the aim of linking impactful projects to long-term funding for scalability and sustainability.
What will the PRC do
TB REACH receives several hundred proposals every Wave. PRC members will review TB REACH applications remotely during January-February 2024 and a smaller group of expanded proposals during an in-person meeting in early Late May/June 2024 (dates and location to be determined) to recommend a final funding list to the Executive Committee of the Stop TB Board.
