Advice to other Countries:

1. Goals, Objectives and Targets for TB Control should be clearly defined and plans, strategies and budgets should be laid out. TB control should be a priority so that funds can be dedicated to the program. Activities should be focused so that the more critical areas like drugs are provided secure funding.

2. The program should be understood and owned by implementors, planners and all concerned. Ownership of the program translates into more advocacy and support for the program.

3. Advocate! Advocate! and Advocate some more to all those who have access to and approve budget including other persons who can influence them.
