Working Group on New Diagnostics

The Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) is the lead agency, with Dr Giorgio Roscigno from FIND being one of the co-chairs of the Working Group. Recently a second co-chair has been elected in the form of Dr Madhukar Pai from the McGill University, Dept of Epidemiology & Biostatistics. The Secretariat (Martine Guillerm and Sanne van Kampen) is housed by the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases.

Recently a core group has been established, with representation from major interest groups from academia, industry, NGOs, diagnostic developers, and the patient community. Furthermore nine sub-groups are supporting the Working Group.
