DEWG Focus: Quarterly Newsletter of the DOTS Expansion Working Group

The DOTS Expansion Working Group (DEWG)is pleased to share with you the first issue of DEWG Focus-our quarterly newsletter.This newsletter aims to keep you abreast of DEWG’s activities and facilitate the sharing of information, experiences and ideas on how to ensure equitable access to high-quality DOTS services for all people with TB. As we endeavour to communicate more regularly with you, our partners, supporters and stakeholders, we invite you to share your experiences, contact us for any enquiries, comments or further information. We look forward to stimulating a two-way dialogue.

ENGAGING WORKPLACES IN TB CARE AND CONTROL.

This meeting will review existing evidence and experiences in implementation of TB workplace programmes and facilitate the development of a consensus framework for guiding engagement of workplaces in TB care and control

The focus of this year's DEWG meeting is increasing case detection. The meeting will serve as a platform to share a range of new interventions and approaches in TB control among countries and partners, and discuss ways to accelerate progress in TB control particularly in case detection.
