Organization Description:
The y+outh social activists of the area who were working in different NGOs decided to work together for the change of their area in 2005. It got its legal status in 22nd December 2006. The PARAS means the diamond (The Touchstone) which changes life only by a touch. PARAS started working in the area for the al-round development of the villages emphasizing on children, child rights and women. The thought behind the conception of the organization was to strengthen socio-economic status of the area through education and to mainstream the marginalized group with the modernization. The children should not face the same problems as their parents and they should get the benefit of the scheme. The excluded society must acknowledge about their rights and the welfare schemes which are designed for them. But gradually we focus the children and child rights in related to other issues like livelihood and health education.
VISION
Create a society where the last person in the queue of the society will have the rights to live with dignity.

MISSION

To make the community capable of self-sustained, self- administered through capacity building, advocacy, networking and people’s participation, thereby ensuring the rights of community and to emphasize on children rights.

OBJECTIVES

1. To avail education for all eligible children and ensure their rights
2. To create awareness amongst Poor, Dalits, Women, Adivasi and Marginalized community.
3. To facilitate people for advocacy for easy access of their rights.
4. To increase community intervention in decision-making process.
5. To sensitize community on gender issue and ensure women rights.
6. To promote alternative development practices.
7. To undertake Study and Research for the issues on health, education, environment, empowerment, social status etc.
8. To promote IGAs to ensure food security
9. To avail better health to the community
10. To promote alternative leadership to strengthen local self-governance.
