Furthermore TB stands as the number one killer of HIV/AIDS patients in Uganda. Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB Care Delivery:
Selected community members are mobilized through the health camps and it is during the health camps that the community was sensitized about the dangers of TB and the need to undergo TB testing at any government health facilities where there was a TB Sign post for further management. This happened between 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Drug-Resistant TB:
We also informed adult girls and young women - AGYWs who were HIV positive that they stood a chance of having TB and also a possibility of being resistant to TB Drugs which was and still a common scenario in Uganda

TB-HIV:
We just have a plan of incorporating HIV and AIDS with TB programing as opposed to separate projects or programs

Laboratory Strengthening:
We just have a plan of partnering with the Laboratory department under ministry of Internal Affairs in Kampala in order to improve in this area
