Drug-Resistant TB: Chair of the UK's Global Antimicrobial Resistance Innovation Fund (GAMRIF) that deploys capital on behalf of the UK government into AMR. We are also working with large pharmaceutical partners on innovative finacing mechanisms to incentivise R&D in resistance breaking antibiotics. New Diagnostics: Strategic business advisor to a number of companies focused on novel TB diagnostics, including POC TB diagnosis and lower cost resistance mapping. New TB Drugs: Strategic advisor to small biotech developing novel drugs for TB. New TB Vaccines: Exploring investment opportunities in TB vaccine development and in alternative options for manufacturing scale up. |
