Organization Description:
Kaalmo Relief and Development Organization formerly known as (KREDO) is non-profit making, non-sectarian, humanitarian relief and development organization that was established and registered in 2005 as a local non-governmental organization (LNGO) in Somalia. KRD operates in Gedo region particularly the districts of Belet-Hawo, Dolow, Luuq and Elwak. Its top priority is to create an environment that is conducive to sustainable development by helping communities to secure peace, sustainable development and attain self-reliance. KRD’s mission statement is to facilitate the participation of the poor people in Gedo region of south central Somalia in the development process. KRD is interested in 'TB for hard to reach nomadic communities; since TB is affecting the nomadic communities there are no effective strategies that eradicate TB at the national level.

TB Care Delivery:
we are doing a TB treatment progaramme for hard to reach nomadic communities on the move by training CHW from the target villages and equipping them with the necessary skills and medicines, linking them with hospitals and other health service providers.
