Organization Description:
Community Health Development Organisation is a non governmental organisation made up of health professionals who are committed in solving health issues in deprived areas in Ghana and beyond.We offer health education,screening of hepatitis,HIV, TB and other communicable diseases and treatment. We also focus on school childred in communities and villages.

Our mission is to promote and carry out health programs.
A pilot and preliminary investigations indicate that a lot of people are infected with TB bacterials in villages and communities who have limited access to health facilities and we have taken it upon ourselves to go to these communities with our medical team and screen them and give medications where possible. We aso work with a well established Laboratory called Anezka Laboratory services.

We are currently planning to go outreach to screen and and treat infected people to support the TB control programm.

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

TB-HIV:
It is also planned to investigate HIV related to TB to support the Global plan.

Laboratory Strengthening:
we are planning to go for screening in various communities in Ghana to screen and give good laboratory diagnostics to support the Global Plan to Stop TB

New Diagnostics:
We are plannig to screen new patients with TB and document it to support the program

New TB Drugs:
We will administer drugs to newly positive patients who have limited acess to health facilities.

New TB Vaccines:
We will take up vaccination activities to support the Global plan

Fundamental Research:
We are ready to take up any fundamental Research task when given the opportunity to help the Global paln
