The HIF network's purpose is to improve the health of individuals, communities, and society by promoting excellence in patient care, education, public health, and prevention relating to infectious diseases including Tuber Culosis and HIV.

Our model for TB is simple,'Promote awareness through education. We do that, by supplying informative leaflets for a widespread awareness, in local languages, and at the same time, put together and distribute a TB resource pack and ensure TB is included as an on-going topic in all training and resource updates and support a bunch of local DOTS campaign.

Contribution

Please tell us how your organization will contribute to the Global Plan to Stop TB by briefly describing its involvement in any of the areas of work listed below:

Drug-Resistant TB:
Better living conditions and BCG Vaccination greatly improved the number of reduction of TB and many believed it had gone away. But world travel, poverty and HIV mean, that TB is making a comeback, even more powerful, the XDR TB and is a serious threat to global health. Considering this factors, we thought to include it in our agenda and for the same, apart from awareness about the prescribed pattern by the health care provider thus ensuring no dosses are missed , we are funding few organization in Afghanistan and India, who are working in making mutation database.

TB-HIV:
Ensuring TB is improved by assessing new TB Techniques, by awareness and education to limit sex with multiple unknown partners and thus acheiving a better protected life.
