Organization Description:
1. HRI is the leading organisation in promoting evidence based harm reduction policies and practices on a global basis for all psychoactive substances (including illicit drugs, tobacco and alcohol). Our work includes conferences, advocacy campaigns, research, civil society partnerships, and information exchange.

2. We are interested in tuberculosis because it is an unnecessary, under-diagnosed killer of people using drugs, especially if living with HIV or subjected to criminalisation of their activities with incarceration. The detection of TB and availability of user friendly treatment needs advocacy from users and harm reductionists as well as the STOP TB Partnership.

3. We will work through our networks of
civil society activists to disseminate information about TB and the Stop TB partnership and to advocate for TB services. At country level TB services need to take advantage of funding opportunities such as the the GF MARPs applications, and we will support building capacity of civil society to engage with these processes and demand better TB services.
