To the Private Sector Constituencies of the RBM and Stop TB Partnerships

We are pleased to announce two opportunities for interested parties to contribute to shaping global public-private partnerships for malaria and tuberculosis. Nominations are currently being sought for private sector representatives to the boards of the Roll Back Malaria (RBM) and the Stop TB (STB) partnerships.

This is an important opportunity for the private sector to strengthen its response to malaria and tuberculosis, provide strategic guidance and ensure increased support at the country level through engagement with the broader partnerships.

Background Documents

The attached Terms of Reference documents outline the roles, duties and commitments for each of the partnership's private sector board representatives. For further information on partnership governance, by-laws and operating frameworks, please consult the RBM and STB partnership websites (below) or contact the Global Health Initiative at healthelections@weforum.org

Election Process

Individuals wishing to stand for election should complete the attached Nomination Form and submit the form together with a recent CV.

Individuals wishing to register their company to vote for either or both of the partnership board elections should complete the attached Registration Form. Please note that only members of the private sector constituency for each of the partnerships are eligible to vote.

Registration and Nomination forms and materials should be sent to healthelections@weforum.org by 2 October.

For those constituents who will be voting, please note that we will be hosting a face-to-face Election Meeting at the World Economic Forum's offices in Geneva on 17 October. We will also be arranging teleconferencing facilities for constituents unable to participate in person. Those constituents unable to participate in person or telephonically may submit their input and votes via e-mail.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information.
