The Objectives of the Stop TB Partners' Forum:

Report on progress since the Ministerial Conference on Tuberculosis and Sustainable Development, Amsterdam, March 2000;

Further accelerate efforts to put the Amsterdam Declaration into action;

Address the urgent issue of the interplay of HIV/AIDS and TB;

Launch the global plan to Stop TB;

The Expected Outcomes:

Consensus on the way forward for the Stop TB Partnership;

Reinforced commitment to implement the Amsterdam Declaration to reach 2005 Targets;

Endorse the global plan to Stop TB and stress the resource gap;
