Stop TB Partnership

Our Hosting Arrangement

The Stop TB Partnership secretariat is hosted and administered by UNOPS in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Stop TB Partnership Secretariat was hosted and administered by the World Health Organization (WHO) since its founding in 2001 to the end of 2014. In July 2014, the Board of the Stop TB Partnership, where WHO is represented, decided to move the administration of the Partnership to UNOPS in 2015. It was recognized that the Partnership in its current form will be better able to fulfil its mandate by moving its secretariat to UNOPS - a specialized provider of administrative services. The decision was fully supported and facilitated by WHO.

The Stop TB Partnership will continue to lead the global advocacy effort to raise awareness, funding and action against TB and coordinating the efforts of its 1300 partner organizations.

WHO remains a central partner and continues to sit on the Partnership's Board and Executive Committee. The Partnership draws on WHO's expertise, use its global data and information as the base for its own advocacy material and coordinates its actions and initiatives closely with WHO.
